Designed as a party-sized pre-mixed which is bursting full of essence of a holiday season, making it perfect for hosting a holiday party. Reserve the remaining citrus syrup for breakfast cocktails, sweets, or for additional servings of this cocktail.

Serves 10 guests
Ingredients for the Citrus Syrup (produces 750ml)
300ml fresh clementine juice
200ml fresh lemon juice
500g fine sugar
Ingredients for the Cocktail (produces 850ml, serving 10)
400ml decent vodka
100ml dry gin
150ml peach schnapps
200ml citrus syrup (from the recipe above)
Whole cranberries, to garnish
Mandarin essential oil, as a final touch
Method
To prepare the Cordial: Place all the items in a saucepan, heat until it reaches a gentle boil, agitating so the sugar melts. Then, remove from the heat and leave to cool entirely. Decant into an sterilised bottle, seal keeping it in the fridge, it can be stored for around four weeks.
For the Premix: Pour the specified liquids into a large bottle, allow it to infuse for 60 minutes, then strain best through cheesecloth, to ensure it's perfectly clear.
For serving: Measure 85ml of your batch mix to a stirring glass packed with ice, gently stirring lightly for one minute to chill. Strain into an chilled martini glass or equivalent, decorate with a few cranberries adding the final touch with a quick spritz of mandarin oil over the top.
