Vehicles in German Town Found Covered with Swastikas in Human Blood, Police State

Officers mentioned they were alerted by a man who noticed a car in Hanau marked with red-colored fluid

Approximately fifty vehicles have been smeared with what seems to be human bodily fluid in the German city of Hanau close to Frankfurt, according to police.

Vehicles, building surfaces and postboxes were defaced, sometimes with Nazi symbols, they stated in a release.

Police say they were contacted in the late hours on Wednesday evening, when a man noticed that a car in the Lamboy district of Hanau had been smeared with a reddish fluid.

The substance had been drawn in the pattern of a swastika, they added.

Police then located many other smeared automobiles and residential walls in the surrounding area.

These symbols are banned in Germany under regulations banning the visible presentation of Nazi-era symbols.

Law enforcement say early analysis indicate the substance was likely blood from a person.

"At present there remains no clue as to its origin; authorities are presently not aware of any injuries in association with the event," they commented.

Municipal representatives stated they were attempting "to resolve the mystery" and have requested to the community for information.

A high-ranking representative commented the attack left him stunned and needed to be resolved quickly.

"This incident strikes at the core of Hanau and reawakens the pain of the right-wing terrorist attack five years ago," he stated on social media, mentioning the death of nine people by a gunman aiming at individuals of immigrant origin in 2020.
